Objectives

After completing this module you will be able to:

  • Recognise your role as a manager in connecting and implementing the safety objectives of senior management with the broader workforce
  • Identify local contextual strategies to implement that will support the embedding of a ‘ staff safety culture’  in the workplace
  • Recognise the safety responsibilities of your role as a manager to maintain safe work practices, in accordance with WHS legislation
  • Apply and integrate into day-to-day practices, a risk management  approach to ensure the ongoing proactive health and safety of  staff, patients and visitors
