Welcome to the eLearning module Child Protection.
This course outlines the obligations of all NSW Health staff to identify possible signs of child abuse and neglect, and then consult and respond appropriately.
On completion of this course you should be able to:
Be able to describe indicators of possible child abuse and neglect.
Be able to describe steps you can take to consult and respond to child abuse and neglect.
Know how to complete the Mandatory Reporter Guide.
- Explain the role of the Child Wellbeing Unit, and how to contact them.
This course is applicable for all NSW Health Staff and may qualify for up to 2.0 hrs of Continuous Professional Development
